LUNA
Luna is an awareness and education initiative created to help people understand trauma, abuse, and their long-term impacts — and to make it easier for people to seek support sooner.
Luna was founded on the belief that silence protects harm, while understanding opens the door to healing.

Why Luna Exists
Luna began in 2024 after its founder planned to speak publicly about her own experience of abuse and trauma — but realised she was not yet supported or informed enough to do so safely.
After receiving a diagnosis of PTSD with dissociation and beginning trauma-informed therapy, it became clear how deeply unrecognised trauma can affect a person’s life — mentally, physically, emotionally, and relationally.
Luna exists so others don’t have to wait years — or decades — to understand what’s happening to them.
When people have language, they have power.
When people feel understood, they feel safer seeking help.
That’s where healing begins.
